Smile, by Charlie Chaplin

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square perform, "Smile" by Charlie Chaplin, and arranged by Sam Cardon.

"Smile" began as an instrumental track written by Charlie Chaplin himself, for his movie "Modern Times" in 1936. It was used in the movies soundtrack. 

In 1954 lyricists John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons added the lyrics and title. That same year Nat King Cole recorded the first version with lyrics.

The song talks about smiling through the difficult times in life, it will help get you get through.
