The classic recording of George Frideric Handel's masterpiece, recorded during the Choir's 1958 concert tour, has been remastered for CD, and features Eugene Ormandy, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and soloists Eileen Farrell, Martha Lipton, Davis Cunningham and William Warfield. This recording was selected by The National Recording Registry in 2004 as being "culturally, historically or aesthetically important."

In this 1995 recording, Sir David Willcocks conducts The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, The NightPro Symphony Orchestra, and soloists Lorna Anderson, Paul Esswood, Neil Mackie, and Stephen Roberts in a complete recording of Handel's enduring masterpiece. This performance was called the "Best [Messiah] Recording of All Time" by Billboard Magazine.

This 1973 series of choruses from Handel's Messiah were conducted by Richard P. Condie and accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Selections include: "Glory to God in the Highest," "Worthy is the Lamb," "Hallelujah" and seven others.
